The Black Moor Goldfish is enhanced by large buldging eyes protruding from the sides of its head. They have long flowing fins with metallic body scales being a deep velvety black.
The Black Moor juveniles are a dark bronze with flat eyes. As they mature they become a deep black and their eyes begin to telescope outwards.
While most Black Moors stay black in all sorts of environments some can also revert to a metallic orange when kept in warmer water.
