Breeding: Kitty Tetra can be bred in captivity, a dimly lit tank with some fine leaved plants on the bottom to catch the eggs will encourage breeding. Feed them small live foods for a few days prior until the female scatters her eggs on plants. Remove the pair once the breeding is concluded as with most tetra, they will eat their own eggs.
